Is there a fee for Judith Kay to be my guest speaker or workshop leader?
- Non-profit Organizations: Judith Kay does not charge a fee for non-profits but does ask permission to sell her books at the end of the event.
- Private or Corporate Events: The fee for Judith to present at a private or corporate event is negotiable depending on the travel distance and time requested. For example, an all-day event is a longer commitment than an hour presentation. If the distance to the venue is more than 100 miles, mileage reimbursement is requested, or an honorarium in kind.

What do I receive as the host of the event?
- The host or event sponsor receives a free copy of the book that matches the talking point of the presentation. If the Trilogy, Love Takes a Chance, is the Book Talk, the host will receive all three books in the series as a thank-you gift.

What does Judith require for her presentation?
- Book Talks and Writing/Publishing Workshops require a 4-foot (or comparable) table in the front where Judith is presenting and an 8-foot (or comparable) table in the back for book sales at the end.
- Financial Wellness Workshops include a PowerPoint presentation. If you have a screen and projector available, that is most helpful. If not, Judith will bring one. Her laptop will require an HDMI connection.

When is Judith available for speaking engagements?
- Judith has daytime and evening availability as well as Saturday options. See her scheduling app for available dates.

How far in advance should I schedule?
- Judith’s calendar fills up quickly. Use the scheduling app or call her office at your earliest convenience to find available dates. Office Phone: 515-581-9011

Does Judith ever present at children’s or young adult events?
- Yes. Any topic listed on her Talking Points can be adapted for children and youth of any age.
- Judith also reads to children (usually ages pre-K – 5th Grade.
- In addition, Judith offers a 1-hour interactive creative writing workshop for upper elementary students.

How do I know which program to choose?
- Each presentation is uplifting and packed with value. However, some topics are heavier than others. For example,
- The Love Takes a Chance Trilogy Book Talk is a blast. It takes the audience through various stages of Judith’s journey with her characters and storyline. She shares her challenges along the way, but all said and done, it is a fun introductory type of presentation that frequently leads to future appearances at the same venues.
- Diagnosis Dementia ~ Prognosis Hope tackles the weight of caregiving, memory loss, and aging parents. The topic is heavier, but it is sprinkled with humor and antidotes that make the topic real and manageable. The content also offers insight into preventative measures and problem solvers Judith learned through her journey.
- Unspoken-ness is a perspective on grief. Judith does a good job of weaving the joys of living into the experience of death. The two go together. This topic can be more challenging for some, but for the right participants, it is life-giving.

If Judith is an author, why does she offer a workshop on Financial Wellness?
- This is a great question! Judith is a seasoned financial coach in her “other” life. Fully licensed and accredited, Judith is passionate about making a lasting, positive difference in the lives of everyone she meets. Her job as a financial coach allows her to reach families who might otherwise fly under the radar.
- The Financial Wellness Workshop is 100% education. Life is hard right now and families are struggling to make ends meet. This workshop is a hands-on approach teaching basic facts everyone needs to know.
- Each participant will be offered a free financial checkup at the end of the presentation ($199 value). If anyone desires personal coaching, they will be able to schedule with Judith privately.
- Judith does not charge a fee for personal financial coaching sessions.
